Paint Protection Film

We supply and fit Paint Protection Film (PPF) which is an increasing market as car owners look to protect the longevity of their paintwork. PPF provides protection from damage caused by stones, salt, insects and othe road debris. It's cratch and crack resistent and can equally transform the appearance of traditional paint by offering both high-gloss and matte finish options. It's a fantastic option for new vehicles, preserving existing vehicles or as part of a general upgrade to the look and conservation of your car.

• WHAT IS A CAR / VEHICLE WRAP?

  A car wrap involves covering the vehicle in a thin, adhesive vinyl. This can be done as a cost-effective, reversible alternative to having a full re-spray.

• IS CAR WRAPPING LEGAL?

  Yes, it's completely legal to give your car a full body or partial wrap. The only restriction is that you can't get car wrapping designed to mislead other road users that you are part of the emergency services.

• DOES IT CAUSE DAMAGE / IS IT REVERSIBLE?

  Vinyl wraps (both commercial signage and full colour changes, as well as de-chroming and other services) are designed to be removable. It's important to use the correct equipment and techniques, so please ask us. It's also important to note that if your vehicle has had aftermarket paint or repairs where paint has not sufficiently bonded to the vehicle's bodywork.

• DO I NEED TO INFORM MY INSURANCE COMPANY?

  Yes, all wraps, including part-wraps should inform their insurance company, even if it makes no difference to the value or premium.

• HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

  This is hard to answer as it's very dependant on the vehicle itself, the type of wrap etc. The good news is, it's far more cost-effective than a respray, and we offer completely free, no obligation quotations!
